After qualifying as an architect, Tim joined Aedas's Shrewsbury office in 2004, where he gained experience in a wide range of Education sector projects. During this time Tim became a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and a chartered member of the UK Architects Registration Board.
In 2006, Tim relocated to Kazakhstan where he was the driving force in the growth of Aedas and AHR in the CIS region, and played a strong role in developing work in the Commercial, Residential, Oil & Gas, Education, Hospitality and Retail sectors. As Director responsible for all Aedas and AHR projects in the region, Tim reported directly to the Aedas Global Board, which at the time was the second largest architectural company in the world, and served on the AHR UK and International Boards, he has worked in all major cities in Kazakhstan, on projects ranging in scale from small interior design schemes up to 500Ha masterplans, and has been responsible for the design of over 100 projects and 14,500,000 m2 of built area throughout the country.
In 2016, Tim joint ventured with Atomik Architecture, based in London, on a number of high profile projects in Kazakhstan, he has since solidified the relationship to become partner and General Director of the international part of the business.
Tim is also a Professor of Architecture at Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan.
