After graduating with a degree in financial services, Bota began her career working in financial institutions in the UK. She gained a wealth of experience which she took back with her as she returned to her home country of Kazakhstan, becoming instrumental in the adoption of UK banking standards and initiatives in the rapidly expanding Kazakh banking sector. In 2009 she relocated to Almaty to take up a position with MACE, where she became General Director and took charge of all aspects of Mace’s business activities in Kazakhstan. In 2011 she moved to AEDAS, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running and business development of their operations in the region.

Bota has been integral to the expansion of the practice’s international activities in both the CIS and Europe.
